Program Overview

The Application Programming and Web Development program prepares students to participate in all stages of software and web application development. Students learn how to communicate effectively with clients, document meetings, analyze client requirements, and translate them into detailed technical specifications. They also acquire the skills needed to design intuitive User Interfaces (UI) and optimize the User Experience (UX) using modern design tools and development technologies.

The program equips students with the knowledge and practical experience to develop software applications and dynamic websites using current programming languages, frameworks, and industry best practices, while maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure maintainability and collaboration.

In addition, students learn to build websites using Content Management Systems (CMS), efficiently utilizing their features, plugins, and extensions. They gain hands-on experience in working with databases, web servers, e-commerce platforms, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to develop secure, scalable, and high-performing web solutions.

The curriculum also emphasizes software testing, quality assurance, application deployment, and technical support. Graduates are trained to identify and resolve software issues, document every stage of the development process according to professional standards, and manage information, data, and digital assets while ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and intellectual property requirements.
